Aramid PTFE Packing
Aramid PTFE Packing braided from high quality Dupont Aramid /Kevlar yarns which are uniformly impregnated with PTFE dispersion.The packing shows good chemical resistance, high elasticity and very low cold flow.It is wear resistant but may damage the shaft if not used properly. The aramid fiber can be braided in many types for different applications, such as Aramid PTFE Packing with lubricant for slurry service application,Spun aramid fiber packing with economical use; PTFE packing with Aramid corner, Graphite PTFE Packing with Aramid Corner, GPTFE&Aramid in Zebra braided packing etc.
Aramid PTFE Packing Feature
- It is wear resistant, and it is better to use with the minimum shaft hardness of 60HRC
- Compared with other kinds of packing, it can resist more severe media and higher pressure.
- Wide temperature resistance and Strong Pressure Resistance:Performs reliably across extreme operating conditions, from -220°C to +260°C. suitable to handle pressures up to 30 kg/cm²
- It can be used as stand-alone packing or in combination with others as anti-extrusion ring.
- Kevlar reinforcement improves tensile strength, abrasion resistance, and overall service life.
Application
Aramid PTFE Packing is a durable packing able to withstand granular and abrasive applications.It can be used for pumps in all types of industry such as chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and sugar industries, pulp and paper mills, power stations etc. It is recommended for high-speed rotary equipment, reciprocating pumps, and water treatment applications
