Expanded ptfe sheet (EPT001)
Expanded PTFE Sheet is made from biaxial oriented expanded PTFE sheeting that is laminated to the required thickness.It using a special process that produces a uniform and highly fibrillated micro-structure with a great lot of fibers running in multi-direction.It is a soft and conformable material that is ideal for applications with limited bolt load torque available. also in applications such as glass-lined pipe where excessive bolt load will cause more problems than it will solve.
It has the same chemical resistance and temperature range as any PTFE but it is soft its excellent resistance making it a popular sealing material in the food, drink and pharmaceutical industries..

Applications:
As a multi-purpose gasket sheet, expanded PTFE can replace any other PTFE sheet. It is capable of sealing all aggressive chemicals throughout the pH range of 0 to 14, except for molten alkali metals and elemental fluorine.
